Pentagon’s Position: No Foreign Threat Detected

The drone activity coincides with heightened national discussions around Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs), including multiple congressional hearings. Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh sought to calm fears, stating, “At this time, we have no evidence that these activities are coming from a foreign entity or the work of an adversary. At no point were our installations threatened.” However, the military remains vigilant, monitoring the situation closely.

Despite the Pentagon’s reassurances, Representative Jeff Van Drew has taken a more dramatic stance, suggesting the drones might be linked to an Iranian “mothership” stationed off the Atlantic coast. Speaking on Fox News, Van Drew claimed, “Iran launched a mothership probably about a month ago that contains these drones… It’s off the east coast of the United States.” He called for immediate action, urging the military to intercept the drones.

The Pentagon has unequivocally dismissed these allegations. “There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States, and there’s no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States,” Singh stated. Independent naval analysts have also debunked the claim.
